Sales Support Associate

San Clemente, CA | Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time | $28-$30 per hour (Non-Commission Position)


About the Role

An innovative company in San Clemente is seeking a Sales Support Associate to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused professional with experience in sales support, customer service, order processing, administrative support, ERP systems, and data entry.


The Sales Support Associate plays a critical role in supporting daily sales operations, customer communication, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This position works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Territory Managers, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a collaborative team environment and long-term growth potential.


Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-Time
  • Monday – Friday
  • $28 – $30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Temp-to-Hire


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries by phone and email
  • Process customer orders, returns, and order status requests accurately and efficiently
  • Enter and maintain customer and order information within the ERP and inventory management system
  • Coordinate communication between customers, Sales Support, Territory Managers, and internal departments
  • Monitor order fulfillment and provide timely updates to customers
  • Support daily sales operations and administrative functions
  • Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Assist with office supply ordering and general office coordination
  • Support the Sales Support Manager with operational and administrative tasks
  • Help ensure sales goals and customer service objectives are achieved
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Sales Support
    • Customer Service
    • Order Processing
    • Administrative Support
    • Customer Support
    • Sales Administration
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment


Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP software preferred
  • Inventory Management Systems experience preferred
  • Order Processing Systems experience preferred
  • Data Entry and Record Management
