Compensation:$40-$46 an Hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a collaborative school-based team in Conroe, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with students to improve their communication skills under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Your work will help students access learning, develop confidence, and build essential skills for life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs under SLP supervision

• Assist with the preparation and adaptation of therapy materials

• Collect and record accurate data on student progress

• Support the SLP in conducting speech and language screenings

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and professional standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field

• Active Texas SLPA license (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)

• School-based experience preferred but not required

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting
