Estimated Weekly Pay: $2300/week

Travel compensation packages may include a mix of taxable pay and stipends, depending on eligibility.

Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a home health assignment in Washington, DC.

This role involves providing in-home care across assigned zip codes within the District, focusing on functional mobility, chronic disease management, and post-acute recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home evaluations and develop individualized care plans

• Provide skilled PT services for adult and geriatric patients

• Complete OASIS documentation using HomeCare HomeBase (REQUIRED)

• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 5–6 patients per day

• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including social services and support staff

• Travel between patient homes within assigned zip codes

Requirements

• Active DC Physical Therapist License

• Minimum 2 years of experience REQUIRED

• Home Health experience REQUIRED

• OASIS + HomeCare HomeBase experience REQUIRED

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance REQUIRED

First-time travelers accepted (must have strong HH + OASIS experience)

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 40 hours guaranteed

• Service area: Washington, DC (assigned zip codes)

• Daily productivity: ~5–6 patients/day

• Mileage reimbursement: $0.58/mile (between patients)

• No call or weekend requirements

• Floating to different zip codes may be required based on patient needs

Important Notes

• Locals within 60 miles accepted at lower rate

• No RTO allowed within first 2 weeks

• Max 7 days RTO per contract (must be submitted upfront)

• Labs and drug screen required within 48 hours of signing

• 2 supervisor references required

• Candidates may only be submitted to one MedStar location at a time

• Compliance modules must be completed within 1 week of signing
