Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position focuses on delivering safe and efficient cardiac imaging services within a cath lab environment. The role involves operating and maintaining specialized equipment, assisting cardiologists during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout all phases of care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven skills in Cath Lab Imaging and related technical procedures.
- Ability to pass Monitor Technician Certification or Annual Telemetry Review.
- Knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of cardiac catheterization lab systems.
- Competence in hemodynamic data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Familiarity with aseptic surgical techniques and universal precautions.
- Experience assisting with interventional cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, PTCA, STENT, PTCRA, PTMR, TEC.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for supply management and record keeping.
- Effective patient education and communication skills to address concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms to meet rigorous safety and comfort standards.
- Operate and maintain imaging and x-ray equipment, ensuring quality and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, adapting to individual preferences during procedures.
- Maintain accurate procedural logs and documentation including film handling and electronic records.
- Monitor and manage supplies, checking expiration dates and ensuring readiness for each procedure.
- Follow institutional policies for equipment operation, quality control, and safety protocols.
