Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts Friday through Monday
\n• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, judgment and leadership in laboratory technology practice
\n• Responsible for efficient planning, directing and accurate provision of all laboratory testing in assigned area
\n• Must have 5 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
\n• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required
\n• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
\n• Experience required in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
\n• Must have experience with Beckman Coulter hematology (520 and 690)
\n• Experience required with manual differential, body fluid cell count and diff procedures
\n• Must have experience with Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation
\n• Experience with urine microscopic procedures required
\n• Practice in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards and recognized testing techniques
