With established locations in Jamaica, Queens and Queens Village including a newly opened, state-of-the-art medical office we continue to expand our services to meet increasing patient demand.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our collaborative clinical team and help provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is committed to delivering excellent outpatient care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians and in-house specialists while caring for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient primary care services under physician supervision.
  
  
• Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
  
  
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  
  
• Develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient education.
  
  
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff in a multidisciplinary setting.
  
  
• Utilize Athenahealth EMR for efficient documentation and patient management.
  
  
• Work alongside in-office Gastroenterology (GI) and Cardiology specialists to provide coordinated patient care.
  
  
• Deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active New York State licensure
  
  
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  
  
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  
  
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
  
  
• Experience with Athenahealth EMR preferred but not required
