SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Growth Analyst to join our team. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing government contracting opportunities that align with SABG's mission and capabilities. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector.

Business Development & Capture Support
- Identify, qualify, track, and capture targeted opportunities to achieve growth in key markets and with strategic clients, aligned with SABG’s approved corporate business strategy.
- Support opportunities through all phases of the Business Development Lifecycle — from Identification to Award — ensuring effective coordination between capture, proposal, and delivery teams.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform capture strategy and identify emerging trends, technologies, and partners relevant to future growth.
- Maintain and analyze the opportunity pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, GovWin, internal trackers), ensuring data accuracy and generating actionable reports for leadership.
- Collaborate with proposal writers and managers on development efforts, contributing research, writing, editing, and participation in review teams or proposal production.
- Support, attend, and participate in marketing and business development events, conferences, and industry engagements to promote SABG capabilities and build client relationships.
- Maintain current awareness of industry, client, and technology trends that may impact ongoing or future capture and business development efforts.
Proposal Development Support
- Coordinate with proposal managers and writers to track active proposals, schedules, and deliverables across the pipeline.
- Support departmental activities to maintain and enhance knowledge libraries, including past performance, resumes, sample write-ups, graphics, and proposal process documentation.
- Develop high-quality proposal content by collaborating with section authors, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with solicitation requirements and win themes.
- Serve in proposal analyst roles such as volume lead, liaison for subcontractor coordination, or contributor to recruiting-related proposal tasks.
- Maintain and improve the proposal content library, templates, and style guides to ensure efficiency and consistency across submissions.
- Support quality reviews for compliance, formatting, and readability, ensuring timely delivery of compliant and compelling proposals.
Strategic Communications Support
- Develop and maintain marketing content, including capability statements, website copy, and presentation materials, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and strategy.
- Support planning and execution of campaigns, events, and digital marketing activities to drive visibility and engagement aligned with Business Development activity.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop case studies, success stories, and other strategic communications materials.
- Help maintain the brand asset library and ensure consistency in messaging and design across all Growth materials.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in business development or government contracting.
- Market Expertise: Strong knowledge of federal contracting processes and the priorities of DoD and other agencies.
- Pipeline Development: Demonstrated success in building and managing a pipeline of federal opportunities, especially within the Full and Open market space.
- Client Engagement: Experience engaging with senior government officials and federal agencies to build trusted relationships.
- Strong grasp on business development processes and the proposal development life cycle.
- Knowledge of FAR regulations and government contracting websites such as Sam.gov, GovWin, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), GSA eBuy, etc.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications are required. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of competence in using computers and be adept at navigating various software platforms and databases relevant to the field. The ability to utilize technology effectively and efficiently is essential, and candidates should not be novices in computer usage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, beyond basic word processing skills is required. Candidates should demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in utilizing the features and functionalities of these software applications. Additionally, familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and its various tools is essential.
- Experience with market intelligence software such as GovWin is preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts and the ability to apply them in proposal development.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
