Gradient Financial Group is a financial services organization with twelve specialized entities, including Gradient Investments, an independent, SEC registered investment advisor firm.
What You’ll Do
- Execute all daily trade requests including complex trades and large model rebalances
- Assist the Director of Trading with large trade requests and structured note trades
- Assign management styles and fee schedules to client accounts in Orion
- Process trade error corrections
- Work with custodial trade teams on executing and allocating trades to client accounts
- Analyze a range of fundamental and technical data
- Monitor cash balances and outlier positions in client accounts
- Continually educating oneself on the capabilities of the firm’s trading software as well as recommending improvements to the overall trading process
What you Bring
- 5+ years of financial services and/or investment industry – Required
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
- Series 65 - Preferred
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge in managing and supervising others while maintaining an environment that is conducive to meeting team goals and company vision
- Advanced knowledge and experience of executing complex trades and model rebalancing including experienced trading VWAP and TWAP algorithms
- Advanced knowledge of investment products, trading procedures and platforms
- Advanced skills in Excel
