Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support across elementary, middle, and high schools in the Baltimore, MD area. This role focuses on delivering effective speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, enhancing their academic and social development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student speech and language challenges
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate student records
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing expert recommendations for speech and language goals
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques appropriate for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Flexibility and adaptability to travel among multiple school locations within Baltimore, MD
