HumCap's client is seeking a Strategy Associate to join a fast-growing, national healthcare practice management organization known for its strong culture, mission-driven mindset, and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly analytics and reporting across practices to empower leadership with data-driven insights
- Conduct ad hoc analyses across functional areas including Clinical Research, Facility Expansion, Payor Strategy, Therapeutics, HR, and more
- Build strong relationships with business and clinical leaders nationwide
- Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and trend data
- Contribute to annual budgeting through modeling, collaboration, and strategic analysis
- Prepare presentations for senior management and the Board
- Work with a fast-paced, high-performing FP\&A team
- Develop expertise in FP\&A fundamentals, healthcare operations, and practice management
First 30 Days
• Build your analytics skillset, learn key FP\&A reporting tools, and begin contributing to projects while forming cross‑functional relationships.
First 90 Days
• Fully participate in the monthly reporting cycle, deepen healthcare-specific knowledge, take ownership of 1–3 initiatives, and understand the long-term financial model.
By 180 Days
• Become a subject matter expert for select practices, lead monthly reporting insights, identify process improvements, and expand complementary skills.
By the End of Year One
• Recognized as a go-to expert, highly proficient in complex financial analytics, proactive in solving problems, and a strong contributor aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience
- Interest in financial modeling, reporting, analytics, and healthcare
- Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Ability to collaborate across FP&A, Accounting, Business Development, Payor, and Operations
- Curiosity, ownership mindset, and a drive to ask great questions
- Creativity in improving processes and contributing to team strategy
- A service-oriented approach aligned with the mission of supporting excellent patient care
