We're a 36 year old Accounting Firm on the North Side of Chicago. We help over 270 small and medium-sized businesses with their accounting and tax needs.

Responsibilities Include:

Personal Income Tax Return preparation
Corporate, Partnership and Trust Tax Return preparation
Basic Bookkeeping experience
Work on data entry for several small and medium-sized businesses

Skills Required:

The ability to categorize and organize client data
The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with co-workers and other professionals
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and thoroughness
A strong commitment to our profession

Job Requirements:

3 years of 1040 tax preparation experience, at least
3 years Corporate tax prep experience a plus ( Forms 1120, 1120S and 1065), at least
Basic bookkeeping skills
Basic understanding of Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Bank Reconciliations
Knowledge of Proseries Tax Software is a Plus

This is an in-office position. No Remote workers.

Salary is commensurate with experience plus bonus. We also offer Medical Benefits and a Retirement Package.
