Field Service Manager (Mechanical)

The Field Service Manager leads domestic and international field service operations, combining hands-on mechanical expertise with team leadership, vendor management, and customer escalation ownership. This role ensures safe, high-quality service delivery for global clients. This position is based in Miramar Florida with domestic and international travel.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and manage field service teams across multiple regions

  • Oversee daily field operations, scheduling, and escalations

  • Own SOPs, service quality, safety (EH&S), and performance metrics

  • Serve as senior point of contact for key clients and service issues

  • Manage and negotiate with third-party service vendors and contractors

  • Drive process improvements, documentation, and training

  • Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Sales

  • Travel 10–30% (domestic & international)

Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years in field service operations

  • 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Strong hands-on mechanical background

  • Experience managing vendors and service contracts

  • Proven ability to lead distributed teams

  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)

  • Valid driver’s license and passport
