Job Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)

Job Type: Contract (11 Weeks)

Work Schedule:

• Day & Mid Shifts – 5x8 Hours
• Shift timings may vary within standard operating hours

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to support cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting in complex cardiac and vascular cases and demonstrate strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
• Ensure proper setup and turnover of operating rooms
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to all infection control and safety standards

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR Tech experience
• Hands-on experience with cardiac and vascular surgeries

Required Case Experience Includes:

• CABG (on/off pump)
• Valve repairs/replacements (AVR, MVRR, TVRR)
• Aortic aneurysm/dissection procedures
• Endovascular and open vascular procedures
• LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, TEVAR
• Coronary artery bypass graft and related procedures

Preferred Experience:

• General, laparoscopic, thoracic, bariatric, transplant, or vascular procedures

Certifications:

• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
