Compensation: $24.00–$28.00/hr (DOE)

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon–Thurs, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM

A Day in the Booth

As second shift ramps up, you’ll gear up in the paint booth to transform raw metal components into production-ready parts. You’ll set up HVLP spray equipment, dial in the mix for epoxy, enamel, primer, and two-part coatings, and apply precise, consistent finishes. You’ll verify mil thickness and finish quality, confirm part identification through stamping, marking, and tagging, and keep the work cell organized and safe.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Prepare metal substrates and apply coatings using HVLP spray guns
• Inspect finish quality, verify coating thickness, and ensure spec accuracy
• Identify parts correctly (stamps, marks, tags) before and after finishing
• Follow all safety procedures and sustain a clean, orderly workspace
• Handle documentation: timekeeping, BOM updates, print changes, and routing notes
• Pitch in with housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance as needed
• Hit daily output targets while working independently

What You Bring

• Hands-on painting experience in manufacturing or a comparable environment
• Proven HVLP spray proficiency (required)
• Ability to mix and apply epoxy, enamel, primer, and two-part systems
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills for shop documentation
• Capacity to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Reliability, self-motivation, and a keen eye for detail
