Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to serve an elementary school community in La Place, LA. This contract position is for the current school year and involves working 35 hours per week with a diverse caseload encompassing students from Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to approximately 50 students.
- Address a wide range of needs including Speech and Language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), health impairments, and severe/profound communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Louisiana SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with young children and a varied caseload is preferred.
