Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to support elementary-age students during the upcoming school year. This contract position runs from August 18, 2025, through June 16, 2026, serving approximately 10-15 students with diverse learning needs. Primary caseload disabilities include Other Health Impairments (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment. Services will mainly take place within the general education setting, promoting inclusive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate support within inclusive classrooms.
  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with families and staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational programming.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher.
  • Experience working with elementary-age students.
  • Ability to support a caseload with a variety of disabilities, including OHI, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Strong skills in collaboration and communication within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction.
