Job DescriptionReferral Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our healthcare client to hire a Referral Specialist. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity for our client.

This role will be focused on ensuring patient eligibility is up to date in order for patients to receive their requested care. This position will also process incoming authorizations and referrals and follow up with patients, providers, and/or insurance companies in order to complete the request for care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years insurance authorization/referral experience
  • Must be proficient working within Epic EMR system

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Excellent ability to multitask and adapt to different priorities throughout the day
  • Can work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Able to work well independently and meet production metrics as needed
  • Ability to work well within multiple software systems including Epic and Microsoft Office



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
