Job Description
Provide customer service and support. Distribution of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical and Instrumentation Industrial components by order entry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products, services and order status.
- Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
- Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email or fax.
- Remain current with discount structure and AFP products.
- Maintain current customer accounts, build relationships.
- Work closely with inside sales and sales reps in team environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn industrial products and applications.
- Proficient computer skills.
Physical Requirement:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on computer, phone.
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer Service experience preferred.
