Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support during a maternity leave from now through late April. This role is based at two elementary schools serving students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Candidates will work directly onsite, helping address speech and language needs in a full-time capacity within a school setting.
Primary responsibilities include managing caseloads of approximately 48 students across two campuses. The schedule consists of full days with two half days at an additional school location, requiring strong organizational skills and flexibility in service delivery. The ideal professional will be a Speech-Language Pathologist holding a valid state license, with a preference for individuals who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF) must have external supervision arranged prior to starting, as the district cannot provide supervision services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Ability to manage caseloads and organize schedules across multiple campuses
- Hold or be eligible for the CCC; CF candidates require prearranged supervision
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a school environment
