Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation:$49-$56 an Hour

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and passionate Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join a supportive school team in Naples, FL. This is a full-time, onsite position working directly with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, providing vital access to education and communication through interpretation services. Position Overview:
The SLI will work one-on-one or in classroom settings to provide interpretation services between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their teachers, peers, and school staff. You will play a key role in helping students access curriculum, participate in classroom discussions, and engage socially within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation using American Sign Language (ASL)

• Accurately interpret spoken language to sign and vice versa in academic settings

• Support students' understanding of classroom instruction and social interactions

• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student success

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpreting

• Monitor student progress and communication needs

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Valid Florida licensure or certification as an Educational Interpreter (or eligibility to obtain)

• EIPA score of 3.5+ or RID/NAD certification preferred

• Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred

• Must pass background checks and fingerprinting
