Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Mental Health Clinician provides culturally competent behavioral health services in an integrated primary care setting. This role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning

Provide evidence-based behavioral health interventions

Document care accurately and timely in the EHR (within 48 hours)

Collaborate with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams

Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives

Maintain a patient-centered, respectful, and culturally competent approach
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field

Current DC professional license (LGSW, LICSW, LGPC, LPC, Psychologist)

Experience working with diverse or underserved populations preferred
