Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time
Location: DeForest, WI
Current Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Last Thursday of Each Month
We are looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our family-friendly dental practice in DeForest, WI. This part-time role offers a great opportunity for a hygienist passionate about periodontal care, patient education, and delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy
- Conduct periodontal charting, risk assessments, and provide detailed care for patients with periodontal disease
- Work closely with the dentist to co-diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and the systemic links between oral and overall health
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist in achieving practice production goals and patient retention through exceptional care and communication
Qualifications:
- Valid state RDH license
- Local Anesthesia Certification
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Experience with periodontics and non-surgical periodontal therapy preferred
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented practice
- Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred but not required)
- Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but not required
Compensation: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour
- Competitive hourly pay or production-based pay options
