An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Portland, OR. This contract position spans the current school year and involves supporting students with a range of developmental and therapeutic needs. The role combines clinical expertise with educational collaboration to enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children with diverse abilities.
• Utilize skills in fine motor and gross motor development to support student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas requiring intervention.
• Provide teletherapy sessions as needed to ensure continuity of care.
• Apply knowledge gained from home health and healthcare settings to inform school-based treatment plans.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials.
• Experience working within school environments, particularly K-12.
• Proficiency in fine motor and gross motor skill development.
• Familiarity with home health and healthcare occupational therapy practices.
• Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and multidisciplinary teams.
