An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Portland, OR. This contract position spans the current school year and involves supporting students with a range of developmental and therapeutic needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children with diverse abilities.
- Utilize skills in fine motor and gross motor development to support student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas requiring intervention.
- Provide teletherapy sessions as needed to ensure continuity of care.
- Apply knowledge gained from home health and healthcare settings to inform school-based treatment plans.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials.
- Experience working within school environments, particularly K-12.
