You are: A detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, performing hands-on testing and inspections of semiconductors using specialized equipment. You are comfortable working independently on the production floor and committed to maintaining quality and accuracy. This is a temp to hire opportunity
Compensation: $19.50/HR-$23.40HR
Location: Newburyport, MA
Schedule: 11:00PM-7:30AM
What you will be doing:
- Set up and operate test equipment to perform electrical testing of semiconductors
- Conduct counting and visual inspections of devices
- Assist with and complete engineering work orders
- Record and interpret test results using internal software
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of related experience or familiarity with semiconductors and microscope handling
- Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Positive attitude, integrity, adaptability, and effective communication skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to read/write in English
