Our organization, a prominent and intricate VA facility, is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to become part of our committed and mission-focused team in the scenic city of Tampa, Florida.

About the Role

This position provides a unique chance to deliver comprehensive radiation oncology services to Veterans across the nation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. The chosen physician will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with both malignant and benign conditions that necessitate radiation therapy, while also engaging in tumor boards and interdisciplinary care planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer external beam radiation therapy and other advanced treatment modalities

  • Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with medical oncology, surgical teams, and specialty services

  • Engage in tumor boards and initiatives aimed at quality improvement

  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to trainees as needed

  • Ensure timely and precise documentation within CPRS/EMR systems

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Radiation Oncology

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

  • Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

  • U.S. citizenship is required
