As a Social Media Manager, you will play a vital role at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, a top tier Plaintiff’s litigation law firm with offices in California, Nevada and Arizona. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to join our Firm. The ideal candidate will be creative and analytical with a proven track record of developing and executing successful branded social media strategies, preferably within the legal field. This role requires a deep understanding of ethical guidelines and best practices for law firm marketing on social media.

Key Responsibilities:


The Social Media Manager will:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the Firm’s business development and brand.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the Firm’s social media presence across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging high-quality content (posts, text, images, videos, infographics) that reflects the Firm’s brand voice and expertise, while adhering to legal ethics and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent posting schedules and a balanced mix of educational, promotional, and thought leadership content.
  • Monitor social media trends, news, and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for engagement and content creation.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a professional and timely manner, fostering positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Firm’s Director of Public Relations, Executive Director, and Partners to identify content opportunities and leverage internal expertise.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, website traffic, lead generation) and recommending data-driven adjustments to strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist with paid social media campaigns, including planning, execution, and optimization


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years of dedicated social media management experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and growth.
  • Preferred experience working with law firms, demonstrating an understanding of the unique sensitivities, ethical considerations, and compliance requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok with a strong understanding of their algorithms, best practices, and audience demographics.
  • Exceptional content creation skills with a proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy tailored for different platforms, and ability to create compelling visuals (images, videos, infographics) in line with brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for graphic creation.
  • Experienced in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) to track performance, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of legal industry nuances and ethical guidelines for advertising and communication. Ability to craft messaging that educates and informs without providing specific legal advice or violating professional conduct rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including the Director of Public Relations, Executive Director, and Firm attorneys.
  • Proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reputation management skills, including an ability to monitor online conversations and respond appropriately to protect and enhance the Firm’s reputation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
