Outside Sales Representative (1099) — Lucky Llama Roofs Roofing | In-Home Sales | Commission Only | Uncapped

Lucky Llama Roofs is building its sales team in the Salt Lake City market, and we're looking for the people who will anchor it.
If you've sold in-home (solar, windows, HVAC, baths, pest, alarms) you already know the game. Roofing is the same skillset with bigger stakes, higher tickets, and a product that homeowners genuinely need. This isn't a hard sell. It's a clear value conversation with a willing buyer. Your job is to execute it well.

What You'll Do
- Run in-home appointments: roof inspection, consultation, and close
- Conduct or support visual roof inspections and identify repair and replacement needs
- Present scope, materials, timelines, warranties, and pricing with confidence and clarity
- Guide homeowners through the decision
- Follow up with discipline and urgency to drive closes
- Track your pipeline, notes, and next steps in the CRM
- Deliver a clean handoff to operations after the sale
- Represent Lucky Llama Roofs with professionalism and integrity at all times
Compensation
- Commission-only. No hourly. No base.
- Uncapped. Your production drives your paycheck — period.
- Paid twice per month
- Self-generated deals earn a higher commission percentage — bring your own pipeline and it pays
Estimated annual earnings: $80,000–$200,000+ Earnings reflect performance. Top producers earn more. That's the deal.

Who This Is For
- Proven outside or in-home sales performers (roofing, solar, windows, HVAC, baths, pest control, alarms, etc)
- Strong communicators who can lead a room, build rapport fast, and maintain control of a sales conversation
- Self-directed and disciplined; you don't need to be managed to follow up
- Available evenings and weekends when homeowners are actually home
- Motivated purely by performance and what you can build
Bonus: Roofing and/or insurance restoration experience is a real advantage.
Requirements
- 18+ with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to walk properties and conduct visual inspections
- Comfortable with basic tech: phone, tablet, CRM, texting, calling
- Professional appearance and communication. Always.
Independent Contractor Status
This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, not W-2 employment. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licensing where applicable, and business expenses. This role is not eligible for employee benefits including health insurance, PTO, overtime, or unemployment.
