A-1 Total Service Plumbing is seeking a full-time, entry-level Plumbing and Pipeline Helper to join our team in La Habra, CA & Los Angeles, CA. This entry-level role offers a great opportunity for growth in the plumbing and pipelining industry, with the chance to gain valuable skills in Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and other specialized technologies.

This entry-level position offers a competitive pay range of $17 - $25 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits, including paid travel expenses for out-of-town projects.

The work schedule will vary based on project assignments, with a significant amount of travel required (50 - 70% of the time) to locations such as Texas, Massachusetts, Nevada, and New York. Travel expenses will be fully paid for all out-of-town projects, and flexibility will be essential as the schedule can shift depending on the needs of each job site.
As an entry-level Plumbing and Pipeline Helper, you will assist lead technicians on various trenchless pipe lining projects. Your daily tasks will include preparing tools and materials, cleaning and organizing job sites, and providing general labor support. You will help ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available for the crew and may be called upon to run errands to gather additional materials. In addition to these responsibilities, you will receive training in core trenchless technologies, including hydro jetting, descaling, and Hydro Max operations, while also learning essential safety protocols. This position offers significant opportunities to travel to job sites in different states, allowing you to gain hands-on experience with a variety of trenchless technologies and project types.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical background or knowledge
- Ability to travel extensively (50-70% of the time) with all travel expenses paid
- Physical stamina to handle demanding work, including tasks in confined spaces
- Willingness to pursue certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Competent Person, and Confined Space Training
Some experience as a plumber's helper or assistant is preferred. Plumbing, construction, or mechanical trades experience is also a plus!
