About This Role
We're looking for someone with a passion for early childhood education to join our Keene Day Care Center team. If you're energetic, playful, kind, respectful, curious, and reliable, you'd be a great fit. As an Associate Teacher, you'll support the Lead Teacher in developing a cohesive teaching team and managing the day-to-day operations of the classroom. We're dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and culturally sensitive environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

What You'll Do
- Establish a nurturing and loving relationship with the children in our care.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to all Center policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement an engaging and effective educational curriculum.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
- Engage with the children at all times, fostering a sense of presence and attentiveness.
- Build strong relationships with families through open and friendly communication.
- Contribute to the overall success of the teaching team.
Requirements
18 years old
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification within the first 30 days of hire
Must pass a full background check and a health screening
Nice To Haves
An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education would be an asset.
Previous experience working in an early childhood program would be beneficial.
The following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Experience with the Pyramid Model
- Experience with Conscious Discipline
- Experience with Environment Rating Scales
- Knowledge of Strengthening Families Protective Factors
- Familiarity with NH Granite Steps for Quality
