Position: MRI Technologist
Location: White Plains, NY - 10601
Shift Schedule: 4x10s (Four 10-hour shifts)
Shift: Evenings (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 1 PM – 11 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week
On-Call: 1–2 times per month as needed
Unit Type: MRI
Care Setting: Acute
Shift Length: 10 hours
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Phillips MRI systems and possess strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient care, and contrast administration. This role requires collaboration with the radiology team to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans following standard protocols and physician orders.
- Administer contrast safely and confirm proper patient identification and consent.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting using Epic.
- Ensure MRI equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Provide patient education regarding MRI procedures and safety.
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate support during trauma cases.
Skills & Qualifications:
- ARRT-MR Certification required.
- NYS Licensed MRI Technologist required.
- Certified to inject contrast in New York State.
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.
- Experience with Phillips 1.5T MRI preferred.
- BLS Certification required.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
