Location: Onsite – Hawthorne, CA
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Accountant (Temp)

Pay Rate: 35–37 per hour (DOE)

Reports To: Accounting Supervisor
Tools: Strong Excel required, NetSuite a plus
About the Role
We are hiring an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join our onsite team in Hawthorne. This role manages the full AR cycle including applying payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting internal compliance. You will also review postings from AR Clerks and provide backup coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts receivable process including payment application and account reconciliation

Approve and monitor daily ACH and cash transactions

Review AR Clerk entries for accuracy and completeness

Reconcile subledgers and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Support process improvements and ensure compliance with internal policies

Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Customer Service, and the Business Office

Prepare and share reports on AR status and trends with senior management
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Two or more years of experience in AR or general accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with NetSuite is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to review AR postings and approve transactions

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
