Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Urgent need for skilled per diem pharmacists with retail experience to support an expanding pharmacy team in West Sacramento, CA, and surrounding Northern California areas. This is a Per Diem position offering flexible shifts to supplement an existing pharmacy staff during high-demand periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional pharmacy services including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and managing prescriptions.
• Oversee pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Utilize McKessons Enterprise (ERx) software for accurate record-keeping and prescription management.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in retail pharmacy settings.
• Support multiple locations in Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico) as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrated ability to open and close a pharmacy.
• Experience managing and leading pharmacy technicians.
• Flexibility to commute within the Northern California region and willingness to accept per diem shifts averaging 1-2 per week.
• Proficiency with McKessons Enterprise (ERx) software preferred.

• Primary location in West Sacramento, CA, with opportunities across Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California (Redding, Chico).
