We are seeking a Fabrication Support Associate to join our client's team in Johnson County! This role plays a crucial part in supporting the fabrication process by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are readily available for production. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and staging of raw materials for fabrication
- Operate basic hand and power tools to support fabrication processes
- Transport materials and completed parts to designated areas within the facility
- Perform quality checks on materials and report defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols
- Support machine operators and fabricators by handling additional tasks as needed
- Track and document inventory levels for fabrication supplies
- Assist in assembling components and subassemblies when required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
