Job Title: Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will define project scopes, create comprehensive estimates, and manage budgets effectively while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Define the project scope.
- Create a construction estimate based on a material takeoff (MTO).
- Develop and manage a construction project budget.
- Formulate a construction project management plan.
- Negotiate with general contractors and subcontractors to secure profitable construction contracts.
- Develop a construction schedule, detailing project deliverables and milestones.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Manage resources such as construction materials, workers, and equipment.
- Allocate and manage resource logistics.
- Create status reports for project stakeholders.
- Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and other construction team members.
- Obtain necessary building permits and licenses, ensuring compliance with code regulations.
- Maintain health and safety standards on-site.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a project manager or superintendent role.
- Experience in industrial or commercial construction.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in project management and construction management.
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Background in civil engineering or construction management.
- Strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
- Ability to deliver on project scope.
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
