Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Performs duties associated with meal service to patients, residents, staff and community visitors in a sanitary manner to maintain regulatory compliance with federal, state and local health inspectors.
- Plans work according to census to ensure proper quantities of food are prepared and ready to serve at correct time frames.
- Prepares and serves food according to physician ordered diets by using standardized menus, recipes and diet manual as needed.
- Uses established methods of food preparation and storage to enhance nutritional content, palatability and general acceptance.
- Follows standardized recipes with ability to adjust recipes according to patient volume.
- Follows standardized menus to ensure proper serving sizes are served.
- Ensures correct temperatures of foods served.
- Ensures correct diet and textures are served accurately.
- Assumes responsibility for assigned cleaning duties and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent GED
- At least 1 year of experience preferred

Weekdays 5:30 am - 1:30 pm. Rotating Weekends 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
