Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to provide psychological services within a school setting in White River Junction, VT. The role involves working directly with students, educators, and families to support academic, social, and emotional development through assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral support planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state regulations and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
