The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating training programs for new employees. The ideal candidate will have a background in a manufacturing environment, with additional experience in Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPP) and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) being beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate training programs for new employees.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety training sessions and workshops.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with management to improve safety protocols.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years in a safety management position.
- Experience in environmental health and safety.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience with SWPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention).
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three years of related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in HAZWOPER is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license

Work Environment
The individual will work in an office setting alongside other team members. Training and interactions with associates will occur in a production environment, which may include exposure to high, precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and extreme temperatures. The role offers shift flexibility between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with options ranging from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. or 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
