EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with fellowship training to become part of our established Heart & Vascular team. Our practice includes a diverse group of professionals, such as Yousef Kaid, MD, Matt Watson, DO, Tarun Nagrani, MD, Jay Hamze, MD, Marion Hochstetler, MD, Jeremiah Martin, MD, Joe Herrmann, DO, Paul Rase, NP, Amy Spencer, NP, Linda Lester, NP, Amanda Williams, NP, Jade Kirkpatrick, NP, and Becky Kalb, NP.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Option #1: A base salary of $590,985, which aligns with the 50th percentile of MGMA for recent graduates, with the possibility of additional compensation based on experience. This salary is guaranteed for two years and can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.
- Option #2: A base salary of $724,177, reflecting the 75th percentile of MGMA, guaranteed for the first year before switching to a wRVU production contract.
*Note: A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
The two-year contract also includes:
- Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO), plus an additional 5 days of PTO for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing medical education.
- Deferred Compensation: Participation in a 457b plan, allowing deferral of up to $23,000 annually before taxes, without matching contributions.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: A 403b plan enabling deferral of up to $23,000 annually before taxes for those under 50, and $30,500 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to a moving company.
- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: A small premium deducted from the paycheck for coverage.
- Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
- CERP (Pay for Call) Program: Details provided by the VP of Finance.
- Bonus Opportunities: Attractive bonus incentives of up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 in repayment ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent on a two-year service commitment.
- Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, up to $100,000, paid upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years.
PRACTICE DETAILS:
- Location: The outpatient clinic is situated on the main campus of the hospital at Braunlin Building, Suite 206, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
- Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM.
STAFFING:
- 7 Physicians (including Interventional, Non-Invasive, CT Surgery, and Vascular Surgery specialists)
- 6 Advanced Practitioners
- 11 Medical Office Assistants (MOA)
- 2 EKG Technicians
- 15 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
- 5 Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)
- 2 Surgery Schedulers
- 2 Surgical Assistants
CALL SCHEDULE:
- 1:3 weekend rotation
- 1 night per week rotation
- Opportunity to earn additional compensation through the CERP (Pay for Call) Program.
CASE LOAD:
- Outpatient Clinic: Approximately 10 patients per day
- Inpatient: Based on hospital census
- Procedures: 4-6 per day
