The Department of Pathology at our organization is on the lookout for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic expertise in surgical pathology.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists.
- Manage approximately 35,000 surgical specimens each year.
- Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.
- Work alongside researchers at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center.
Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent is required.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
- Must obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois.
- Strong diagnostic capabilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
- A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.
Working Environment
The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative team of sub-specialized surgical pathologists, contributing to a high-volume practice with significant opportunities for research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits
This position comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting compensation ranging from $159,000 to $985,945.
- Salary determined by academic rank and experience.
