Position Title: Clinical Director
Reports To: Executive Director / CEO

Position Summary:
The Clinical Director provides leadership, clinical oversight, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and person-centered care across all mental health programs at Arbor Care Solutions. This position ensures agency compliance with regulations, professional standards, and best practices, while supporting the development and performance of clinical staff and programs.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Oversight & Leadership
- Provide supervision and clinical guidance to licensed and associate-level staff
- Monitor the quality and consistency of treatment planning, service delivery, and documentation
- Ensure all services reflect trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices
- Oversee clinical processes across programs including CST, Peer Support, IIH, and Outpatient Therapy
- Step in to provide direct clinical services to clients when necessary, including in situations of staff absence, crisis coverage, or high acuity needs
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure clinical activities meet agency and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with QA/QI staff to address documentation, audit findings, and incident reporting
- Support and implement corrective action plans when needed
- Maintain updated clinical policies and procedures
Supervision & Staff Development
- Provide scheduled clinical supervision, evaluations, and coaching
- Support onboarding and training of clinical and paraprofessional staff
- Assist with hiring and credentialing processes for clinical team members
Program Strategy & Coordination
- Collaborate with agency physicians and prescribing providers to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews
- Review clinical outcomes and recommend service improvements
- Work with leadership to support program development and strategic planning
Required Qualifications:
- Must be fully licensed in North Carolina as one of the following:
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor)
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of mental health service delivery, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary care coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
Work Environment:
- This is not a complete work-from-home position.
- Office-based; may require occasional travel for meetings or emergencies
- MondayFriday schedule with flexible availability for clinical escalations
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times
