How you will change lives
As a transcriptionist, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working with healthcare providers to facilitate quality care for patients living with kidney disease. You will work the doctor and his team to provide documentation for visits with patients.
What we are looking for
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working towards a healthcare career such as RN, NP, or MD
- Medical Terminology
- Available to work evening into the evening when needed
- Problem solving skills and initiative
- Clear and friendly professional communication
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Basic computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Relative experience in health care.
- Adobe Forms Software preferred.
- Have full range of body motion and flexibility.
- Able to climb, reach, kneel, stoop, and bend daily.
- Able to sit for long periods of time.
- University/college degree is an asset
