Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20–$25 per hourJob Summary:
We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to join our funeral home team. This role includes answering phones, filing death certificate paperwork, and performing general office duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls courteously and professionally.
- Prepare, file, and track death certificate paperwork accurately.
- Maintain organized office files and records.
- Assist funeral directors and staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a sensitive work environment.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Hourly pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
