Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School Psychologist is needed for a contract position located onsite at an elementary school in Commerce City, CO. This role centers on providing specialized mental health services and supporting early childhood programs designed for P-5 students with wrap-around social communication and autism center-based programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct mental health services focused on developing communication, social-emotional, and behavioral skills.
  • Collaborate and consult with multidisciplinary teams to enhance social-communication development.
  • Support positive behavior intervention and regulation strategies within structured programs.
  • Work primarily within early childhood specialized programming, targeting social communication and autism spectrum needs for young learners.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist or Social Work Educator credentials (counselor credentials are not acceptable).
  • Experience working with early childhood populations requiring social communication and behavioral support.
  • Strong background in mental health services within educational settings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff to create comprehensive support plans.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Contract dates from ASAP through June 4, 2026.

Location:

  • Southlawn Elementary, Commerce City, Colorado.
