Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist is needed for a contract position located onsite at an elementary school in Commerce City, CO. This role centers on providing specialized mental health services and supporting early childhood programs designed for P-5 students with wrap-around social communication and autism center-based programming.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct mental health services focused on developing communication, social-emotional, and behavioral skills.
- Collaborate and consult with multidisciplinary teams to enhance social-communication development.
- Support positive behavior intervention and regulation strategies within structured programs.
- Work primarily within early childhood specialized programming, targeting social communication and autism spectrum needs for young learners.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist or Social Work Educator credentials (counselor credentials are not acceptable).
- Experience working with early childhood populations requiring social communication and behavioral support.
- Strong background in mental health services within educational settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff to create comprehensive support plans.
Schedule:
- Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Contract dates from ASAP through June 4, 2026.
Location:
- Southlawn Elementary, Commerce City, Colorado.
