Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various plumbing issues. This role requires hands-on experience and a solid understanding of plumbing principles, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply lines and drainage systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing or related fields such as construction plumbing or maintenance person services.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing tasks.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics is preferred.
- Knowledge of heating systems is a plus.
