What You’ll Do
As the Vice President of Federal Sales, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Swish Data’s presence across federal civilian and defense agencies. You will lead the federal sales team, develop high-impact sales strategies, build executive-level relationships, and secure new and expanded federal contracts. This is a critical leadership role that will shape Swish’s federal market success and influence long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the federal sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet organizational targets across Civilian and DoD agencies.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization focused on federal government acquisition cycles, GWAC/IDIQ vehicles, and complex solution sales.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key federal decision makers, influencers, and program leadership to position Swish as a trusted solutions partner.
- Collaborate with technical, proposal, marketing, and delivery teams to align client needs with Swish’s capabilities in IT modernization, data science, cybersecurity, and performance engineering.
- Drive opportunity identification and pipeline development, including strategic pursuits, capture planning, and lead generation.
- Represent Swish at industry and government events, speaking engagements, and customer engagements to enhance brand visibility.
- Forecast and report sales performance metrics to executive leadership and optimize sales processes for federal pursuits.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of federal IT sales leadership experience, with a proven track record selling complex technology solutions into federal civilian and/or DoD agencies.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, SEWP, ITES, etc.), and federal budget cycles.
- Established executive presence in the federal marketplace with strong relationships within Federal Agencies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow sales teams.
- Advanced degree preferred.
