Job Overview: Soliant Education is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in the Puyallup, WA Area. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment while covering various Special Education needs across the district. The role will involve providing direct support to students and ensuring that their individual learning needs are met effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Cover intermittent leave absences in a 1st-3rd grade self-contained program on specific dates.
2. Provide coverage for additional SPED absences across the district as needed.
3. On days with no SPED absences, support in a life skills classroom to help with daily operations and assist in individualized learning plans.

Requirements:

• Valid WA SPED License with proper endorsement.
• Fingerprinting through OPSI (Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction) is required.
• Experience working with students in Special Education programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

pensation:

• Hourly Pay Range: $44 - $55 per hour, based on experience and other factors.
