Benefits Compliance Manager
$120–125K Base Salary | 100% Remote | San Francisco Bay Area-Based Brokerage
A growing, 25-person employee benefits brokerage based in the Bay Area is looking for an experienced Benefits Compliance Manager to support a mix of small to mid-size groups, with some up to 2,000 lives. This is a fully remote position with excellent benefits and a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the go-to compliance expert for clients and internal teams
- Support ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, and other benefits regulations
- Partner with Account Management and Sales teams to advise on compliance strategy
- Monitor regulatory updates and communicate impacts to clients
- Assist with compliance audits, documentation, and reporting
- Help maintain and update client data in Salesforce (experience a plus)
What You Bring:
- Strong background in employee benefits compliance (brokerage or carrier side)
- Familiarity with group sizes ranging from under 50 to 2,000 lives
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
