Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Production Associates on the swing shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday. The first week will include orientation on the day shift to ensure comprehensive training. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines by acquiring job skills and learning company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. You will work on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required and must operate within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging.
  • Option to sit or stand during the 10-hour shift, with standing required at times.
  • Lift up to 10-15 lbs and meet assembly metrics, such as connecting hoses manually.
  • Support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines.
  • Receive detailed instructions and work under close supervision.

Essential Skills

  • Basic computer skills including navigation, Excel, and Outlook experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and flexibility to assist in other departments.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work plans, priorities, and management decisions.
  • Knowledge of production standards and goals.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, blueprints, electronic assembly, and soldering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
  • One year or more of related experience is preferred.
  • Competency in job knowledge and skills to perform tasks.
  • Ability to apply new work requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn new tasks frequently.

Work Environment

Work in a light industrial assembly environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and moderate noise levels. The swing shift runs from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with initial training on the day shift. The environment supports a collaborative team atmosphere where employees can sit or stand as needed during shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
