A high-end optometric practice in the Bay View Neighborhood is looking for a friendly, energetic optician.
Eyes on the Lake is a privately owned optometric practice that prioritizes providing expert knowledge and superior customer service. Our opticians are responsible for creating a high-end shopping experience, providing expertise in frame and lens knowledge, and contributing to a friendly atmosphere in the office.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- At least 3 years of experience in optical sales
- ABO certification (or desire to obtain)
- Familiarity working with vision plans
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Sell premium quality glasses and contact lenses
- Skilled in fitting, adjustment, and dispensing of glasses
- Become familiar with our optical inventory and products to provide the most appropriate selections for patients
- Answer phones and assist patients
- Verify insurances and interpret benefits
