Position Summary:
America’s Home Health Services (AHHS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Home Care Coordinator to support our evening operations. This role is essential in ensuring seamless service delivery during after-hours, with a strong focus on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, scheduling accuracy, and responsive customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of care and communication.
Schedule:
Second shift hours (afternoon/evening), including occasional weekends or on-call support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and adjust caregiver schedules to ensure full coverage for all client shifts
- Monitor and enforce EVV compliance, ensuring all visits are properly logged and verified in real time
- Troubleshoot EVV issues with caregivers and provide guidance to ensure accurate documentation
- Respond promptly to client and caregiver calls, providing exceptional customer service
- Handle call-offs, late arrivals, and urgent staffing needs during evening hours
- Communicate schedule updates and changes clearly with caregivers and clients
- Maintain accurate records of scheduling activities, incidents, and compliance tracking
- Collaborate with daytime staff to ensure continuity of care and smooth shift transitions
- Support overall office operations and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care coordination, scheduling, or healthcare support preferred
- Strong understanding of EVV systems and compliance requirements is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
